The Third Edition of Our Board Review Book is Out and It is a Doozie

We’re proud to announce that the third edition of Clinical Informatics Board Review: Pass the Exam the First is now available for purchase on Amazon (paperback) and Gumroad (ebook). We’ve listened to your feedback, reviews, and comments and came back with an improved book that includes more practice questions with explanations, additional material on tougher topics like Markov and decision making, improvements on existing content (typo removal and such), new graphics, and better organization of the eBook version.

Warning: Honesty Ahead

We’ll be honest, developing a review book is tough. Especially when the exam is relatively new and changes every year. This year seemed more challenging than previous years as the exam went from a more practical exam to a more “academic” type one. The sheer number of topics covered makes it darn near impossible to go in to depth on every. single. one. So instead, we do our best to cover just what you need to know for each of them and give you options for further reading and exploration on the topics you may not be comfortable with.
